Truth is simply what is - what actually is right now, and what has been.
The truth is not affected by what you think or what you believe, it is what it is.
The truth is still the truth even if no one believes it.
Truth can be discovered and observed.
Sometimes we let too much belief determine what we think is true, when we can simply observe what actually is true.
Agree. And truth does not have a political value. It stands alone. And sometimes we let others, that have their own motives tell us what is true, and it turns out NOT to be true.

1. Love God with all your heart
2. Love your neighbor as your self
The ten commandments condensed into two. And notice that G-O-D is FIRST.

Act in accordance with LOVE.
YES. GOD's definition of LOVE, NOT man's.

This leads to the consequences of not following truth - an immoral society - which is what we have on this planet, as evidenced by war, hate, and suffering.
And a lot of other things too.

Unfortunately, "truth" today is relative to whatever a person wants it to be for them at the moment. That way, they are justified in doing whatever they want. Gods Word is mocked and ignored. For radical muslims, "truth" is the call to kill any who oppose them. For Bill Clinton, "truth" was he didn't engage in sex with Monica. Timothy McVeigh had his own "truth" as well. Relativism is a total lie that most people buy into because they reject God and His "truth" and standards. So, they make up their own in order to justify doing wrong. I've done it myself, and so has everyone reading this. The difference is that some repent, and allow God to change thier "truth" to line up with His. Okay, I'm ready for all the hate from the usual suspects out there that are mad because they feel convicted.
