chapter 6: the endless possibilites

The reformation is the most critical part in western civilization it created the era we live in today as well as shaped the map of history. To be exact the reformation has many concepts but the most important is the breaking away from the Catholic Church and the beginning of the Enlightenment. I think the few concepts of the reformation are quite simple first, the reformation wanted to bring forth an age of science and reason. Second, they want to go away from the almighty Catholic Church and create a new type of ministry that is against the inquisition and barbarism. Last, they want to get away from the corruption and lies. Martin Luther is the most best known influence in which he wrote the 95 theses which stated that the Catholic Church is corrupt and is against god and his will. This also led to the belief that the pope was the Anti-Christ which Martin Luther strongly believed. Also the reformation leads people to believe in science, medicine, reason, enlightenment, the arts, and equal rights. So I see Martin Luther as a person who is against the teachings of the Catholic Church people even started destroying churches and the belief that the catholic churches ritual are in fact Idol Worshipping which is one of the ten commandments “thou shall not worship any graven image.”

So the churches became less with decorations and became smaller and easier. Prayer was said, to be greater than the catholic’s rituals. There was even a case on who could Exercise demons better. The protestant reformers intended using the power of pray to save a little girl from demonic possession. The story goes that the Protestants used the power of prayer which failed in attempt. The catholic’s rituals won the battle for souls, but the reformation still did not give up. Well the reformation is turnings point in history it created new governments as well as new geographic terms. The future depended on the reformation to survive, yet was this good thing or a bad thing?

chapter 7: history repeats itself

I believe it was good and bad it made way towards new age but created problems while along the way by making new powers and wars that soon diminished. Some say the religious are in fact the reason why we failed to become enlightened. This is in fact not true first, the communist Russia believed that the reason why they did not succeed other industrial nations is because of the Russian Orthodox Church, yet soon communism fell over a half a century later. So religion doesn’t prove who the better civilization is. The reformation is all about politics, reason, money, power, and strengths & weaknesses. Whoever has the most succeeds whoever doesn’t diminish and fall. I think the reformation created us as a nation and the symbols on our nation’s capitol actually proves it all. As we begin to look towards many reasons why the reformation found our nation was as you look at many of the freemasons and presidents. Sounding like a conspiracy theorist we look into the symbolism of the capitol we see roman architecture as well as some churches that represent as well as look like the temple of Solomon much of freemasonry tells of the temple of Solomon including the story of it’s creation since the crusades many Christians where obsessed with the architectural world.

They wanted to be master builders and to be knowledgeable and enlightened. The reformation was basically lead by many people who thought the catholic church was too much powerful as well as worshipping graven images of the virgin Mary as well as Jesus and where considered corrupt in a sense. One of our founding fathers Thomas Jefferson actually created his own version of the New Testament and removed all the miracles that the church deemed sacred and powerful.

Much of this would have gotten you killed or even slowly tortured but the belief in America as the “new Jerusalem” soon brought forth a new age of reason and understanding the world in a less religious context. During World War 2 some say that America searched for biblical relics as well as tried to conquer the world. During World War 2 Hitler supposedly had the real “holy lance” and actually used it’s great power. Most say that President Eisenhower after the allied powers invaded Germany found the relic and in fact tried to test it to see if it was powerful.

Many believe the holy lance was replaced from it’s supposed resting place in Vienna with a fake relic. This is more a conspiracy than a fact but today it played a huge role in the reformation of not just the church but also the reformation of government in the same context. So far since the beginning of the reformation their has been three famous individual’s that are well known one is Voltaire the worlds most renowned atheist who believed the bible would be destroyed after his time. The irony of this was that his house was in fact turned into a bible store and really is funny in many senses.
He was known for his want for Anarchy to which he hated everything about government especially monarchy/tyranny. The second renowned person who wanted reform was emperor Napoleon Bonaparte whom hated the government and used many military styles as well as concepts to overthrow the government. He was well known for his putting the imperial crown on without the pope putting it on him. He was against the church in many contexts and considered more as a butcher than a prince in the Nostradamus quatrains. He was born near Italy and was part of a military school.

chapter 8: the will to conquer

He ended up taking Europe by storm but his failed attempt was what some say happened also to Hitler and it was invading Russia. As the battle lingers on Napoleon with little resources invaded Russia while the legend goes that the Russians lit their own city on fire which created a trap to Napoleon creating a great diversion in great detail. Napoleon was trapped and was soon exiled to the island of Elba where some say he tried to poison himself but he failed in his attempt. There are more mysteries than answers. The third reformer is Hitler himself he was brought up Roman Catholic yet he was well known with the occult as well as a believer in it. He wanted to create a third Reich to which would change the entire world as an Aryan world. He was a strange reformer whom was devoutly crazy as well as somewhat deranged. He wanted to take over the world. His symbol of authority was the swastika which has no origins accepts it is in many cultures from Buddhist mythology as a counterclockwise swastika which brought luck as well being in Hindu lore.

Hitler would end up making the same mistakes as napoleon by invading Russia. This comes with dire consequences I believed as he broke the treaty with Russia the spread of communism was making Hitler a little mad. He hated the idea of communism because they are atheists as Hitler was a devoutly religious man he ended up following the same fate as Napoleon by invading Russia who was working with the allied powers at the time.

the reformation was basically all about getting away from the church so far communism was the biggest failure to deter from the church because now Russia is in the rebuilding of religion process. They are fixing many of the Russian orthodox churches and even having it being saved in a way. Communism is still in china but many know communism has become obsolete over the past years ever since the knocking down of the Berlin wall.
