That is the question. Why would a HATEFUL, JEALOUS, VENGEFUL god allow anyone to live?
The only way I can see someone getting out "alive" is to posses the same qualities of HATE, JEALOUSY and VENGEANCE...

Israel is the way for God to achieve His salvation plan. Canaanites are those winding up in hell but trying to wipe out Israel. Thus God allows Israel to eradicate those hell hounds trying to end God's salvation of human souls.
God use a strict way to teach to Jews such that when later on they are put to an exile of 2000 years but still maintain their royalty to God. The Jews are the only ethnic group which can still keep their culture and religion without a home for 2000 years.

Then God killed people in the flood and other parts to remove the spiritual authority of the devil , as man and the devil went hand and hand .......God killing people was stopped with Jesus and His sacrifice which is God Judgment now ................2nd................. condone slavery and subjection of women , this is the ideas of man and God give man the desires of His heart , whether it is evil or good ........................3rd.............. history of creation is literal , and the letter of the law is a dead end and there is no issue , whether you believe or not , People are not condemned for this ..................4th.................... People must believe and have faith in God through Jesus as the devil will influence man to not believe and ignore , and if other religions say the same if faith of God they copied from the bible and took the cornerstone Jesus out of their religions ......................,5th..................there is still grandiose miracles today if you care to look as Evangelical healing ministries , which is Jesus at work , or you just deny these miracles and ignore them and the changed Christians who is free of sin and illness fall off these people , ........................6th....................and people have answered prayer if you follow the ways of the spirit and the Word of God . God answers pray for His children and the world will get nothing answered to them .........................7th ......................Many people will be lost to God , as God is a Good God , and all people are lost in the world with evil in their heart and Jesus was given to remove the evil in their heart and have a covenant with the people , and that is the plan ...... As there is no plan for people lost to God with No soul , as they failed the test of Life and ignored the hope , they got life in the earth , and that is it .......................8th................. the chosen people were the Israelites as they were called to usher in the messiah Lord Jesus Christ ......................9th..................... darkness of Evil happen in the creation and God recreated the light of Goodness and selflessness ..........demons and fallen angels where created for the goodness of God, with calling for the creation of life on the earth , and they where given free will , where they choose rebellion and just blamed God in their arrogance .....................................See this is a wisdom of knowing God and the understanding He brought ................... 10th ...last question there is no wisdom as it demeanors God and His purpose
