Excellent ... we don't, because we lose the taste for it, by grace. (Well,
everything is by grace...the air we breathe!)
Our mind's have been renewed.
He was guiding the Roman's well in their spiritual infancy.
Our dear brother Paulus to christians of he's time:
1. What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? 2. God forbid. We who died to sin, how shall we any longer live therein? (Roman 6:1-2)
Of course...Do whatever you please...You are saved eternally...You know...OSAS...
I argue sin is man-made and a mental concept of which we have been trained to believe makes us less a person.
I further argue, that if god forgives our sin (all our sin, past present and future) this supports the argument of sin being man-made.
So why is sin such a problem if it is always forgiven?
Which raises the $64,000 question of why even repent if God knows what we ask which is kind of like doubting / challenging God to forgive if we already know he will forgive?
Of course...Do whatever you please...You are saved eternally...You know...OSAS...
The issue is NOT and has never been our salvation. Christ took care of that issue and we have nothing to do with it. Where does all this concern for salvation come from for a Christian??? Do you NOT trust and believe Christ??? We are to concern ourselves with sanctification under His perfect agape love for us all that He unambiguously demonstrated with His body and life. We achieve that sanctification by following His repeated instructions to His disciples to love God and each other every day and repent when we don't. Why complicate it with "precepts and doctrines of men" and absurd beliefs as if they have anything to do with our salvation???
