There are some who think Jesus is in someone because they are nice to others but He describes the characteristics of those who abide in Him in the book of John when He says that those who abide / remain in His word abide in Him.

John 15:7,8
" If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask for whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. My Father is glorified in your bearing much fruit and becoming my disciples."

Since the son of man is the truth, the word of God, then can you see how important the word of God is to your

Spiritual being?

It's interesting how some posters (Peacemaker) want to exclude those who need Christ, while the Word tells us that our ministry is one of reconciliation - not condemnation or worse, damnation.

I think it's a good topic. He didn't condemn anyone.

The idea is to get them the word.

As the Lord has said through the prophet;

"I shall change and purify the lips of the people so they shall all call upon the name of the Lord to serve Him with one accord."

Amen, Peacegiver !
How will they preach unless they are sent? Just as it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news of good things!”
So faith comes from hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ.
Romans 10:15,17

Yes, it is a very good topic, cowdog !
There are some here who believe in UR (Universal Reconciliation) that no matter what you believe you will be saved and therefore with this mentality leads one to not desire the need to share the gospel of Jesus Christ because there is no such things as eternal damnation, a eternal hell ! As this teaching leads one into a false peace that everyone is OK and so therefore there will be no eternal consequence for refusing, rejecting, and completely denying that Christ died for their sin because everyone eventually will be saved !
But soon they will find out how deceive they were of God's Truth and it will be a very sad day for them as they have denied Christ before the ppl because of their own denial of God's truth !

How could a God who IS agape love do any less than what He expressly said He desired - that all be saved????

By whose authority do you declare that to reject eternal torment we deny Christ, Cyber. That is very presumptuous. We proudly and loudly proclaim Christ to the world and entreat everyone to love God and each other every day and repent when they don't. Where in there is a DENIAL of Christ???? You need to spend some time carefully assessing your heart, Cyber, and how you can be so confused and wrong as to accuse the brethren of denying Christ.

And the parrot who thinks our main reason for existing is to become parrots has the temerity to speak as if he knows anything about God.
