That says to be in subjection not to participate in elections, which are voluntary.
You do know subjection is not involved in voting? No resistance in not voting.
Peter set the standard when he said "We must obey God as ruler rather than man". Man is ruled by Satan and God has allowed the Governments to exist to prove that Satan lied when he said man could rule himself with out God. Remember the first form of Government was a Theocracy/rule by God, the second was Democracy rule by man/Adam and Eve. We obey where it does not conflict with God's will.
A Christians allegiance and loyalty is to God's kingdom, not to any man's Kingdom. Can't seve two masters.

The current state of the Country shows religious views are meaningless in the long run as "religious" people vote for both parties. The voting has not changed the decline one bit. Nor will it.

And what would happen if nobody -- absolutely nobody -- voted? Can you even imagine a country where people of multiple religions and cultures had to peacefully co-exist without any laws of the land to govern us? Sure, it would be great if we all believed exactly the same and could all be trusted not to take advantage of one another, but that's not the world we live in. I cannot even begin to conceive of the chaos that would exist without governments. We here in the United States are so blessed to be able to vote for who we believe will best direct our country. Jesus said to render unto Caesar that which was Caesar. He never advocated overthrowing Caesar and just hoping for the best. You make it sound as if anyone who exercises his right to vote is ruled by Satan. I'll be happy when Christ returns to reign, but for the time being, I believe He expects us to do what we can to work for better lives for all of our citizens. This involves compromise -- not of your own integrity, but of the idea that everything has to be done your way or else.
