Europe is an excellent example for us not to follow. I don't do religion so that part is meaningless to me.

Nobody knows what is going to happen in 50 years (per the Spectator article).

It could be worse, it could be under the influence of fundamental Christianity. You'll never meet nicer people than my unbelieving family over the other side of the pond.

Believe it or not, there is a Christian revival going on in Europe. Small, but young, dynamic, and growing. It seldom makes the MSM news because of course, it does not jive with their preferred narrative.

Christianity has been refined by God , as the obedient to the Will of God get God and His blessing were people who lack obedience will get no God , so humanism is dominate in this age but it will not last as God has a plan for an awakening ..... Still many pre-Christian nations could lose their nations to the enemies and be lost from God for hundred years , which God is known for , but God will revisit His nations in His time ............

Its true there is a small Christian revival but it won't be noted in mainstream media.

They are emptying out in the U.S. as well.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/...=.0ceee4909c6c

I kind of agree with the pastor who wrote the following article:
http://www.breadforbeggars.com/2014/...s-not-all-bad/

From another article on the same subject--with lots of data in it:

Quote:
American churches - according to a new poll - are emptying out: "A new map of faith in the United States shows a nation constantly shifting amid religious choices, unaware or unconcerned with doctrinal distinctions. Unbelief is on the rise. And immigration is introducing new faces in the pews, new cultural concerns, new forces in the public square.
Key findings from the survey:
Faith is fluid: 44 percent say they're no longer tied to the religious or secular upbringing of their childhood. They've changed religions or denominations, adopted a faith for the first time or abandoned any affiliation altogether.
"Nothing" matters: 12.1 percent say their religious identity is "nothing in particular," outranking every denomination and tradition except Catholics (23.9 percent) and all groups of Baptists (17.2 percent).

Empty Churches, Also in America - Dialog International

And a several year old article indicates just how much the "faith" is constricting in the U.S.

Quote:
Furthermore, somewhere between 4,000 and 7,000 churches close their doors every year. Southern Baptist researcher, Thom Rainer, in a recent article entitled “13 Issues for Churches in 2013“ puts the estimate higher. He says between 8,000 and 10,000 churches will likely close this year.
Between the years 2010 and 2012, more than half of all churches in America added not one new member. Each year, nearly 3 million more previous churchgoers enter the ranks of the “religiously unaffiliated.”
Why Nobody Wants to Go to Church Anymore | HuffPost

I read another article last year (that I cannot find now) which told the story of a Tennessee (I think) evangelical church that had lost so many members they found Arabic Christian partners to buy in so that each group would have two Sundays per month for their congregations.

Perhaps if people were more concerned with the log in the eye of the U.S., they would have less time to be concerned about the splinter in Europe's eye, for the European people certainly know far better than we do how to treat their own folks decently--which is one of the things I think should be paramount among those who call themselves "christian." But it is typical not only of Americans, but even American churches, to try to find someone they are doing better than. And THAT, isn't Christian at all.

Europe is indeed lost.

It has been recognized as being lost for decades. Even Christian churches in Africa, which once depended upon European leadership, are actively working to evangelize Europe. It's ironic, really.

South America is also lost. Many there are returning to their pagan origins. I know because I've been there. I've spoken to missionaries who've fled the region - filled with bitterness and rejection and betrayal.

Japan was never really Christianized. Today it is experiencing a strong inclination to return to the religious origins of old tradition.

Only God knows what's happening in China. The underground church is both visible and suppressed. It is active only in the shadows. Preachers in America would have us believe many things about the Chinese church, but if these things are secret - how does the preacher know? I submit that these types are lying and are only after donations.

America is also lost. We have turned our collective backs upon God and expressed our hatred of Him and everyone who holds Him dear. Jews as well as godly Christians know what I mean. We are being persecuted both intellectually as well as politically for our love of God and the Bible.

America has become the leading global advocate for atheism and violence. Russia once held that position, but evidence of recent years tells the world that they are at least giving lip service to the gospel. America doesn't even go that far any more. We have told God we don't want Him or His advice or His salvation. We have told Him to hit the road.

And so He has.

There is more to life than living and more to God than religious observations. All that is good and wonderful about life is found in God's blessings. To deny Him is disaster for persons and nations.

America is about to experience divine judgment. Many already anticipate this. It is coming soon.

and that's me, hollering from the choir loft.
