I looked for it and could not find anything. Where exactly is it prophesied?

Good question. I think something is used, Jonah? I dunno.

Jesus personally claimed He would be dead three days (Matthew 12:40; 16:21; 27:63; John 2:19). Also, some point to Hosea 6:1–3 as a prophecy of the Messiah’s resurrection after three days: “Come, let us return to the LORD. He has torn us to pieces but he will heal us; he has injured us but he will bind up our wounds. After two days he will revive us; on the third day he will restore us, that we may live in his presence. Let us acknowledge the LORD; let us press on to acknowledge him. As surely as the sun rises, he will appear; he will come to us like the winter rains, like the spring rains that water the earth.” This may also be the passage Paul refers to in 1 Corinthians 15:4 that Jesus “was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures.”

Jesus referred to the sign of Jonah (Jonah 1:17).
Matthew 12:39 But He answered and said to them, "An evil and adulterous generation craves for a sign; and yet no sign will be given to it but the sign of Jonah the prophet; 40] For just as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the great fish, so will the Son of Man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.
Jesus also said that Isaiah 53 had to be fulfilled in Him (Luke 22:37). And Isaiah 53, while not mentioning how long the servant of the Lord would be dead, speaks of Him pouring Himself out to death, and yet speaks of His days being prolonged afterwards if He would render Himself as a guilt offering. This means that after being killed the servant of the Lord would rise again.

All this scripture and yet people still believe Jesus died 3pm on a Friday and rose about 26-27hrs later after the sunset Saturday night, early on the 1st day of the week and that 26-27 hour period was somehow equal to 3 days.

Psalm 16:10 - For You will not abandon my soul to Sheol; Nor will You allow Your Holy One to undergo decay.

Hosea 6:1-3 - "Come, let us return to the LORD. For He has torn us, but He will heal us; He has wounded us, but He will bandage us. 2 "He will revive us after two days; He will raise us up on the third day, That we may live before Him. 3 "So let us know, let us press on to know the LORD. His going forth is as certain as the dawn; And He will come to us like the rain, Like the spring rain watering the earth."

So there's Jonah, the Psalm and Hosea. Okay, thank you much.

Amazing believes don't care about the details. They just need to believe.
