You don't overcome it by not fearing it, men are in bondage to the fear of death (fear of dying to self) ALL of their days. It requires a NEW day, and that day has not come fully yet, but is dawning. Sorry to sidetrack a bit, but just had to mention something. The bold above is an example of one of those glimpses of the kingdom of heaven. An example of loving your neighbor. Seeing others as fellow sojourners and looking for ways to connect and understand them. Just had to point that out. We (I) don't always do that, but we should try to do that as much as possible. I appreciate the reminder.
