My two youngest kids (son and daughter) just prayed to receive Christ after the Wednesday kids' night at our new church!
I knew my daughter was thinking about it for quite some time, because she and I had a discussion about it a few weeks ago.
I actually thought my son had already received Christ awhile ago, because he recently asked me if I thought he was ready to start taking Communion. We had a good discussion on the meaning of the Lord's Supper, and he seemed to have a good understanding of what saving Faith entails. But maybe on Wednesday, he felt the need to make a more public proclamation of his Faith. Either way, my wife and I feel so blessed by this, and by our new church, where we feel like we're part of a growing family.
How wonderful when our prayers are answered before our eyes! I am so happy for you and your family, not only for the salvation of your children, but for finding a church home where you are growing. That can be a difficult thing to find, and it is definitely a treasure.
