It's interesting that Jennifer Lawrence says Mother Nature is made at Donald Trump being elected and moonbats don't bat an eye. But a preacher actually says God is in control and he uses storms, and people go nuts.

Just her opinion. The preacher is a paid employee of god.
As few as 25 years ago, many thousands of people in Texas and Florida would have died from the effects of Harvey and Irma.
As of a day or two ago, the combined deaths in those states was less than 100.
Why?
Did God have mercy?
Nope. People had Science.
Better forecasting and communication systems resulted in better preparation and many, many fewer deaths.
