There's an event that takes place at the end-time foretold in the book of Daniel, and if the US embassy does move to Jerusalem this would fit the prophecy - and shows how near we are to the end of this age.

Daniel Chapter 11:45
And he shall plant the tabernacles of his palace between the seas in the glorious holy mountain; yet he shall come to his end, and none shall help him.

I don't see that verse fitting anything going on now, or proposed. Define "tabernacles of his palace". What "seas" (plural)? What "holy mountain"? "He shall come to his end"; who's end? Surely not God. "None shall help him". Again, doesn't sound like God. Who are they talking about?

It has to make sense in every term. Right now, nothing even comes close.

That verse or prophesy - whatever it means - may have been met thousands of years ago.

This event is to be followed by the return of Christ, so it is for our time, now.

Chapter 12:1 And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.

"Tabernacles of his palace" refers to man's Godless government, the "holy mountain" is Jerusalem, and the "seas" are the Dead Sea and the Mediterranean Sea.

I agree with you in principle, but we are not there yet, though getting close.
My suspicion is that the events here dovetail with the events of Ezekiel 38.
I also suspect the complete picture will not be revealed until after the Rapture.

Daniel - Chapter 11

45 And he will pitch his palatial tents between the seas and the beautiful holy mountain, and he will come to his end, and no one will help him.

Talking about Obama, but Obama hasn't come to his end yet, to pitch one's royal pavilion between the sea and the beautiful Holy mountain is to die and stand before God and in all of his royal majesty he will fall with none to help him or speak for him. Trump is for Israel, Obama who was called the Messiah was the worst president against Israel.

That jealousy thing over Obama won't stop, will it? You guys can't stand that he was coherent, sane, thoughtful, decent, a good family man, a good listener, could spell, and could talk with anyone around the globe. All traits little Trumpy could never achieve, even in his wildest dreams.

And since you're bringing politics into this again, the moderators are likely to shut down this thread like the others.

WHY didn't somebody report this as soon as the first post showed up??? It's blatantly obvious that it is political in nature and has virtually nothing to do with religion, and absolutely NOTHING to do with Christianity.

Instead, you made seven replies. You all know better.
