Even the Pharisees commented on the new religion Jesus started-Acts 24:5
No not to a kingdom on earth--He sat on his throne in heaven. Gods kingdom takes full control of Earth--post Har-mageddon.
God cut Israel off of being his chosen( Matt 23:37-39) -- to this day outright refuse to do verse 39--- a new religion had to start. Just one( 1Cor 1:10)
So from the Jesus era to this day, Jews are not the chosen ones, anymore?
While Jews reject Jesus as God - on the other hand, Christians believe that their God the God of Jews is the same.
Jews believe only they will go to heaven, while Christians believe Jesus is the only way.
Caused by the rise of the great apostasy( 2Thess 2:3) that came out of Rome--Then divided into 33,000 separate religions claiming to be Christian. All of creation can see the mass of confusion. All apart of sights like this see a mass of confusion. Is The Holy spirit confused= No--Men twisting truth is the cause.
Fact--Jesus started one single religion( 1Cor 1:10)-- The only way to find it--Learn and apply every teaching Jesus gave to us. I searched in many religions--I was never taught what Jesus taught in any building called a church. Just a few not the very important ones except for Love. Jesus said--Man must live by every utterance from God--Every true follower has taken the time to learn them correctly. The big one--Every real teacher that belongs to Jesus spiritually feeds their flock with a steady diet of EVERY utterance from God-- All can look and see if their teacher does this--It is very important one does.
A moral person is a person that understands that the universe does not revolve around their ego.
A civilized society is a society whose laws do not revolve around any one person or group of people.
The more a society treats everyone as equals the more civilized it is.
Ancient upper class society was divided into 2 groups.
Soldiers whose job it was to enforce the laws of Civility & Teachers whose job it was to teach the laws of morality.
Religion is the bastard child of both of these groups and therefore combines characteristics of both. I would describe it as militant morality.
Ephesians 4

23 And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;
24 And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.
Don't be a willful sinner and ignore God's admonition to become holy and righteous by putting on a new man. Yield to God in prayers, fasting and living in the Scriptures; these three steps will lead you into God's holiness and righteousness; and your mind will become renewed. God is faithful to make you a new man or woman, but you must YIELD to Him.

The Israelite religion--never taught one goes to heaven--This is what they teach--Psalm 37:9-11,29--The righteous themselves will possess the earth and reside forever upon it.
They reject Jesus as the Messiah--They were not expecting God to come down here--God sent Jesus.
The Israelites--NEVER served a trinity god while serving the true God. Its as well 100% fact--While Jesus attended the synagogues and temples was taught, served and worshipped a single being God named-YHWH(Jehovah)--He taught that God( John 20:17, Rev 3:12) He never refuted that God.
We are to be humble and learn from one another. If what you hear lines up with the word of God it is to be meditated on. If the teaching is not , it should be discarded. We eat the meat and spit out the bones. The Holy Spirit is the teacher.

As long as we have non-Christians defining what it means to be Christian, it will continue to be mass confusion.
