Of course we do, jimmiej, but we are talking about two different classes of people. SOME people don't WANT to do anything to endanger themselves or others. THOSR are people who are committed to a Way that is based on concern for the well-being of everyone in any situation. Why is this so hard to understand?

Even the best people break the law occasionally. The law (Law) is there so no one has an excuse.

The Basic Speed Law states that you must never drive faster than is safe for present conditions, regardless of the posted speed limit. However, those caught driving below the minimum speed limit (under normal conditions) can be charged with a moving violation for blocking or impeding traffic. In other words, the spirit of the law matters insomuch as "culpability" can arise - even when the letter of the law has not been violated.

Just curious, are you REALLY stupid enough to think that concern for your well=being should have me waiting on you hand and foot?
So your concern for others has its limits? So you are saying that sometimes it is appropriate to not be concerned about others?

Exactly,
If the Law states Life has begun at the moment of conception.
What does that mean to satan and his kind.

Filthy luciferians don't care.

The law and particularly the dietary laws set apart the nation of Israel as unique from everybody else

The yearly feasts provided a communal way of worship

Revealed the sin of man.......did not provide any help to avoid sin.....

and no one was saved by the law, the animal sacrifices were only temporary

Romans 3:20 (ESV)

20 For by works of the law no human being will be justified in his sight, since through the law comes knowledge of sin.

So we have most of the denominations holding sin against us all as a control mechanism, maintaining we should all keep the law, when in fact it is impossible. How much suffering and angst over the years because of this.......it doesn't have to be............Jesus took away the sins of the world at the cross and brought in grace by revelation to Paul, but most ignore the only true salvation available today.........
There is a misconception of what the law actually is.

Jesus knew it was important and said this. Notice He calls the law commandments.

Matthew 5:14-20;
"You are the light of the world. A city built on a hill cannot be hid.
No one after lighting a lamp puts it under the bushel basket, but on the lampstand, and it gives light to all in the house.
In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father in heaven.
"Do not think that I have come to abolish the law or the prophets; I have come not to abolish but to fulfill.
For truly I tell you, until heaven and earth pass away, not one letter, not one stroke of a letter, will pass from the law until all is accomplished.
Therefore, whoever breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches others to do the same, will be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever does them and teaches them will be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
For I tell you, unless your righteousness exceeds that of the scribes and Pharisees, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.

Back up a minute. I said for their "well-being," not "for their every whim."

When I consider well-being it rarely has to do what a person WANTS, but about what is good for him in his society. One of those things that IS important is that he should have the respect and love of those in his community.

Work on that.
