What?

Am I misunderstanding your post?

Luke 7:11-15

11 Soon afterward he traveled to a city called Naʹin, and his disciples and a large crowd were traveling with him.

12 As he got near the gate of the city, why look! there was a dead man being carried out, the only son of his mother.
Besides, she was a widow.
A considerable crowd from the city was also with her.

13 When the Lord caught sight of her, he was moved with pity for her and he said to her: “Stop weeping.”

14 With that he approached and touched the bier and the bearers stood still. Then he said: “Young man, I say to you, get up!”

15 And the dead man sat up and started to speak, and Jesus gave him to his mother.

And of course there is Lazarus.

Jesus Foretells His Death a Third Time

31 And taking the twelve, he said to them, "See, we are going up to Jerusalem, and everything that is written about the Son of Man by the prophets will be accomplished. 32 For he will be delivered over to the Gentiles and will be mocked and shamefully treated and spit upon. 33 And after flogging him, they will kill him, and on the THIRD DAY he will rise." 34 But they understood none of these things. This saying was HIDDEN from them, and they did not grasp what was said.

Jesus plainly told them what was going to happen but out of necessity blocked it out of their brains. So they got to spend some time huddling at the condo in fear.......they would all have gone ballistic if they thought their beloved Messiah was going to be killed........

Strangely enough Jews til this day think Jesus was a failure and couldn't be God because He allowed Himself to be killed.......

Note to self: JESUS IS ALWAYS LARGE AND IN CHARGE......He had all this planned before HE put the universe together

10 apostles ran upon Jesus arrest--Peter denied knowing him 3 x after all the miracles they saw first hand. All of them stood back up upon seeing the ressurected Jesus.
Jesus teaches he has a God--John 20:17, Rev 3:12--he warned all on account of his name( standing for it) they wouldn't know the ONE who sent him( John 15:20-21)= Father= YHWH(Jehovah) the only TRUE GOD Jesus taught-John 17:1-6,26. So does Paul-1Corinthians 8:6--There is ONE GOD to ALL the Father.

It's one thing to have Jesus present to bring someone back... it's totally different to have Jesus die, and then have the unseen God the Father raise Him up from the dead.

Do you not recall Peter's response in Matthew 16 when Jesus was foretelling His death? They did not believe His claim.

I think because they all ran away when he was crucified out of fear, they probably struggled with their faith and the temptation to unbelief in God's promises. Also, Jesus arose in a glorified spiritual body - not just anyone could see him.

because they were human like us all. imperfect and without faith, even after all they saw him do!
I also think that they're Not being there any of those days, is all the proof anyone needs that they didn't orchestrate the religion because they didn't really believe him either.
so the jews claims were 100% wrong and completely lacking insight into their/our/the human condition.

Actually in Revelation Jesus speaks to 7 congregations--proof he is with one religion( 1Cor 1:10)--Rev occurs-now in these last days--all have been watching it unfold yet few see it.

the jews claimed that the body was stolen by the disciples. this, of course, is a bald-faced lie they started by buying and paid for it . but maybe the disciples didn't really believe Him either, not really. they saw his death and who can raise from that death ? .. that kind of death was horrific. ONLY God! and I don't think they knew he was God.. may be the son of God but only God could put life back in a body that has been through that kind of trauma, I mean there was no part of that body wasn't broken except the bones.

so the Jews accused the disciples and Paul of creating a religion which is pure ignorance on those peoples parts. . and of course, the disciples didn't do what they are accused of .
NO one But the Lord created his followers into a kingdom of hearts and lives that is more than the buildings they meet in.
they are his temple that he will dwell in! no big gold temple for Jesus.

He is a kings son and he wants to live with his people, his friends and do that forever as a man.
and 40 or so years after he takes Jerusalem he will build a temple for the Father. who finally will then come and live with mankind so how cool will that be?

God will resurrect many on the last day, they have been dead for centuries. Jesus isn't God--He clearly teaches he has a God--John 20:17, Rev 3:12-- God doesn't have a God.
