What's interesting is that I see very little hatred of Christians from non-Christians. I see much more hate exhibited towards the "wrong kind of Christian" from other Christians.
Don't have to look much further than the 33,000+ different sects and sub-sects to see Christians do not play together nicely.
Funny thing Trout, I have noticed that as well. Our city had a community sunrise service this a.m. - they advertised it as non-denominational and open to everyone. We laughed when we heard that as the same group that puts it on has personally called me and told me our congregation is not welcome as we will perform same-sex marriages and therefore clearly heretics, not Christians. I have been bluntly told I am not welcome at their meetings, nor am I welcome at ministerial events where representatives from all churches are welcome... well all except us.

For some, destruction of perceived evil is good, for others it would be looked at as cruel. The only God we have to abide by is the God of nature...natural law.
