Or you can read the Bible. Up to you.
Neither is an accurate account, as God didn't hammer anyone.
Confusing that with the natural or the actions of men doesn't count.

Homosexuals are indeed arrogant; they celebrate with gay pride. One thing God hates is a proud look.

Proverbs 6
[16] These six things doth the LORD hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him:
[17] A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood,
[18] An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief,
[19] A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.

farm on a volcano, no need to blame god for the rain of fire.

my guess is god is up there there thinking, smoke, burps, and quakes ... ... And they stay right there? WOW!

so I don't think "blasphemy" is the word on his mind.

Funny thing Trout, I have noticed that as well. Our city had a community sunrise service this a.m. - they advertised it as non-denominational and open to everyone. We laughed when we heard that as the same group that puts it on has personally called me and told me our congregation is not welcome as we will perform same-sex marriages and therefore clearly heretics, not Christians. I have been bluntly told I am not welcome at their meetings, nor am I welcome at ministerial events where representatives from all churches are welcome... well all except us.

They are so loving.

OP, gods are all man-made. You can make of them as you wish.

For some, destruction of perceived evil is good, for others it would be looked at as cruel. The only God we have to abide by is the God of nature...natural law.

And, we can read Jude 7 and see it was also sexual perversion.

Sodom and Gomorrah and the surrounding cities, which likewise indulged in sexual immorality and pursued unnatural desire, serve as an example by undergoing a punishment of eternal fire.
