It IS a rest! Give it all to him...every burden...
Note: He didn't say give him 50% of your burdens ...or 90% of them....be bothered (burdened)

It's a burden to feel worry or anxiety about my lost car keys when I have an appt...I give it ALL to God...
and within 30 seconds He pops an idea into my mind to look left under the paper...and Voila! There they are...

Every bit of minutia that bothers me....I give to God...and He takes care of it all!
Those are the instructions...either I follow the instructions ...or I don't.
Life is pretty simple!
Either a person spouts all sorts of Christian ideas...or a person actually applies Jesus' instructions.
Again, it's very simple and clear cut....thus, easy.
Voila!

actually I will agree with you on this subject .. it is easier to do His Will and His Words and his Spirits instructions than to not do them. but all of his instructions are just as easy and accomplish much if we see it or not . we are to just keep walking his path for us and in doing that we will find he has plowed a whole field which is now good ground and then planted it for us.. . but it not just the one instruction about our worries but all his instruction are just as easy / well fitted / or he re-fits us .
