This isn’t in my Jewish Bible...The only place that Satan in personified is in Job and he is portrayed as actually working for G-d, not against Him...
While Satan/devil/serpent/dragon (Revelation 20:2) is critical to the structure of creation, and is subservient to God, he still remains the father of lies, and the ruler of the world and men (John 14:30) &(Revelation 13:4). To become a son of God, one must come out of the world's religions, which sets on the beast/ruler of the world, whose authority comes from the dragon/Satan/devil (Revelation 13:4) & (Revelation 18:4) & (Zechariah 2:7), and do the will of God. (Matthew 12:50) To become a son of the devil, one merely has to sin/transgress the law (1 John 3:4 & 8). Working under the limitations set by God, might be a better representation than "working for G-d".

This is why actually reading the Bible with understanding is necessary, not just one verse and putting your opinion on it. This is basically the reason Jesus condemned the Jewish religious leaders of his day, they did the same thing.
The major prophets also make it plain such failed God and exalted themselves and claimed their "understanding" was right and ... it wasn't. Remember Israel the nation does not exist on the land God originally gave them, no Temple no real priesthood and no obedience to the law given by God. Still rejected nearly 2000 years after Jesus' day.

I was taught Satan was jealous of Gods position, he wanted to be worshiped, he wanted Gods power for himself, and that was why he attempted to overthrow heaven and turn other angels to his side.

You might actually try reading the bible. Judah and Jerusalem have already been "restored" (Joel 3:1) as the nation of Israel. Har-Magedon, which precedes the gathering out of the nations, the "house of Israel", is waiting in the wings (Ezekiel 36:24), and will provide a smelter to "purify the sons of Levi".. "so they may present to the LORD offerings in righteousness" (Malachi 3:3). As for when "My Servant David" will come and "judge" between the "sheep" and the "goats" (Ezekiel 34:17), and he will be the "one shepherd", and "will deliver the flock" from the "shepherds" who eat the fat of the flock (Ezekiel 34:3), is "at the door" (Matthew 24:33). The resettlement of the combined Judah and Ephraim (house of Israel), on the "land I gave to Jacob", is also "at the door" (Ezekiel 37:15-28). As for when "I will destroy all the nations (Gentiles) where I have scattered you (Jacob), that is also "at the door". Judah and Ephraim (house of Israel) were to be under judgement for 2 days/2000 years (Hosea 6:2).

Satan, who is the devil, the dragon, and the serpent per Revelation 20:2 is already worshipped by way of the "beast" (Julius Caesar) of Revelation 13:4 via the Julian solar calendar, and the following "beast with two horns like a lamb" (Constantine), by way of the Roman church which the Roman Emperor Constantine instituted via his convened Council of Nicaea, which enforced the 321 AD decree of Constantine to keep Sunday, the day of the sun god, Sol Invictus, as the day of rest. Sol Invictus would be a stand in for the "dragon", which gave the beast his "authority" (Revelation 13:4). The sun gods of the heads of beast, demanded worship for the sun god Bel, of Babel, to the present sun god of Constantine, being worshipped by way of the cross symbol, via the vision of Sol Invictus at the battle of Milvian Bridge.
