Ah, the Almighty has bigger plans for San Francisco. Just a flip of that switch on the San Andreas fault, and pouf!

The weather is not perfectly mild in SF, along with the rest of the nation. You're living in a bubble.

It has no basis to an unbeliever; but the Scripture that I provided earlier clearly shows that God uses weather to judge and warn.

So, let me try to understand. Are you saying that tree fell because San Francisco had a Gay Pride event? It's a simple question. A Yes or No will suffice.

San Francisco will go through HELL unless it turns to GOD and seeks forgiveness. GOD is indeed sending warnings, one after another. The weather, fires, floods, the economy, Crime, earthquakes---- one after another after another, closer and closer. The answer is YES!

Well, now we know your opinion.

I just wondered what people thought. We had a tree fall on the power lines up the street a few weeks ago. As far as I know, we don't have any gay people on our street. I can't say for sure because I haven't asked anyone about their sexual preferences. (That seems like a rude thing to do. ) The lesbians that lived in the next block left 15 years ago, and the gay guys sold the house across the street at least a decade ago. It just seems to me that the tree should have come down a long time ago if it happened because we had LGBT people living here.

You may wish to read the book of JOB. Not all events are punishment from GOD. We live in a fallen world and bad things happen to righteous people. The issue is that JESUS warned that like an expectant woman with birth pains, when one begins to see one terrible event after another, closer and closer ---- we are indeed approaching the end times. At the same time, though events happen, I have personally witnessed blessing from the LORD where an event should have caused serious injury if not death, and no one was hurt. In my case it amounted to terrible straight line winds that brought down over a hundred old growth trees across the community, and no one was injured and only one house suffered minor damage. It was so bad that residential streets were closed for days and some were without power for nearly a week. But this storm brought our community together to help each other...
Please note the following: 2 Timothy 3:1-17
But understand this, that in the last days there will come times of difficulty. For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not loving good, treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having the appearance of godliness, but denying its power. Avoid such people. For among them are those who creep into households and capture weak women, burdened with sins and led astray by various passions, always learning and never able to arrive at a knowledge of the truth. Just as Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses, so these men also oppose the truth, men corrupted in mind and disqualified regarding the faith. But they will not get very far, for their folly will be plain to all, as was that of those two men. You, however, have followed my teaching, my conduct, my aim in life, my faith, my patience, my love, my steadfastness, my persecutions and sufferings that happened to me at Antioch, at Iconium, and at Lystra—which persecutions I endured; yet from them all the Lord rescued me. Indeed, all who desire to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted, while evil people and impostors will go on from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived. But as for you, continue in what you have learned and have firmly believed, knowing from whom you learned it and how from childhood you have been acquainted with the sacred writings, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.
Matthew 24:1-39

Jesus left the temple and was walking away when his disciples came up to him to call his attention to its buildings
"Do you see all these things?" he asked. "I tell you the truth, not one stone here will be left on another; every one will be thrown down."
As Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately. "Tell us," they said, "when will this happen, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?"
Jesus answered: "Watch out that no one deceives you.
For many will come in my name, claiming, `I am the Christ, ' and will deceive many.
You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come.
Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places.
All these are the beginning of birth pains.
"Then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of me.
At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other,
and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people.
Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold,
but he who stands firm to the end will be saved.
And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.
"So when you see standing in the holy place `the abomination that causes desolation,' spoken of through the prophet Daniel--let the reader understand--
then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains.
Let no one on the roof of his house go down to take anything out of the house.
Let no one in the field go back to get his cloak.
How dreadful it will be in those days for pregnant women and nursing mothers!
Pray that your flight will not take place in winter or on the Sabbath.
For then there will be great distress, unequaled from the beginning of the world until now--and never to be equaled again.
If those days had not been cut short, no one would survive, but for the sake of the elect those days will be shortened.
At that time if anyone says to you, `Look, here is the Christ!' or, `There he is!' do not believe it.
For false Christs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and miracles to deceive even the elect--if that were possible.
See, I have told you ahead of time.
"So if anyone tells you, `There he is, out in the desert,' do not go out; or, `Here he is, in the inner rooms,' do not believe it.
For as lightning that comes from the east is visible even in the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.
Wherever there is a carcass, there the vultures will gather.
"Immediately after the distress of those days "`the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from the sky, and the heavenly bodies will be shaken.'
"At that time the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and all the nations of the earth will mourn. They will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky, with power and great glory.
And he will send his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other.
"Now learn this lesson from the fig tree: As soon as its twigs get tender and its leaves come out, you know that summer is near.
Even so, when you see all these things, you know that it is near, right at the door.
I tell you the truth, this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened.
Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.
"No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.
As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man.
For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark;
and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man.

So,after that wall of words, did the tree fall on the power line because we had a gay couple on the street over a decade ago?

If not,why are people blaming weather issues in San Francisco on the LGBT community?

Did you think anybody was going to read that dissertation?

The LGBTQ community is only a symptom of far deeper and ungodly issues that are prevalent in California generally as it is influenced by San Francisco. And what happen in California spreads like a cancer to the rest of the country.

In the midst of the feces, the filth, the trash, the sorrow, the loneliness, the mental illness...etc etc etc

Is where we'd find Jesus.

And it's where we're called to proclaim the Love of Jesus.

He's not here in person.

So he sends us.

We take nothing into Christ that made us what we were before we died, buried and raised in him. If that offends you then so be it. If you can find peace in being something in Christ that you was before you were in Christ, then I'm glad for you.

If ANY man (and ladies of course) be IN Christ then he "has become" a NEW creation. Old thing have "passed away".

The truth I'm at peace with is, we are all in Christ, but you will never experience life in it "until" you believe it.
