Hi all. I’m not new to C-D but I’m new to this forum so I’m reaching out to introduce myself. (I stumbled on this forum when I was scrolling through the main list of forums. I seriously had never scrolled any further down than "Wyoming" for years. LOL! Then one day I discovered the "General" topics area and the massive list of topics .... wow!).
So, I’ve read the forum rules and will try to follow them but please forgive me in advance if I accidentally post something that’s against the rules.
I understand this is a forum about Christianity but not necessarily for Christians. Fair enough - I’m guessing curious people wanting to know about Christianity may drop in and read, like I did. I’m hoping I may somehow reach them; help answer their questions - or whatever I can do to support. I also see a lot of regular posters here and I hope to chat and encourage them too. And also, I will post questions/thoughts because I have a LOT to learn (or, re-learn). Maybe that’s not really what this forum is all about, IDK, but I’m here to give it a try and I'm sure I'll find out!
I’m a “new” Christian – I went through a dramatic change in my entire view of life in July of 2019. Since then, I’ve been trying to sort it all out. I wrote “new” in quotes because I was a Christian before. Well… at least I thought I was... Actually, it’s a complicated and winding road how I got to where I’m at now, and I plan to write about that in another post at some point.
But for now, I just want to say “hello” and I’m looking forward to discussing & chatting more about Christianity and Jesus.
Oh also, I work a lot. 2 jobs. Sometimes I can’t log in and answer right away – just a heads up.

Matthew, Oh - Numbers 6:24-26 is one of my favorite passages from the Old Testament! You maybe already know - Kari Jobe and Cody Carnes have composed some beautiful music to accompany these verses. The song is The Blessing. I can't figure out how to post YouTube videos here yet, but you can find by searching, if you have the time.
