But in verse 25, He refers to Himself in the first person. That would seem to indicate a personal reference to Himself as the resurrection and the life.

Perhaps very soon, millions of Christians are going to disappear from the world; leaving you to propagate the false gospel, that you have been purporting here every day, without any opposition from anyone.

It will be a time of Great Tribulation such as the world has never seen.

But you will very likely be hailed as the great power of God or some such thing; and it is very likely that you will be used by satan to propagate the great deception that will be prevalent in the last days.

It may not happen this way, if you will surrender your heart to the Jesus Christ of the Bible.

But if you will not, it is very likely that you will gain the whole world but forfeit your soul (Matthew 16:25-26, Mark 8:35-36).

Or, it is possible that the Lord will continue to work as a restraining factor, in the Holy Spirit, for many decades or even centuries to come.

He basically tells Martha she is mistaken. So those who serve God as He has instructed are those who rise from the dead. They are righteous and they live. They are freed as the son. Truly free. That’s why Jesus said; “If the son frees you you’ll truly be free.” Anyone who refuses to keep God’s word and serve Him are considered dead.
Does this seem possible to you? Some believe Jesus died so all are saved but Jesus said IF the son frees you you’ll truly be free. That is IF you serve God as the son you’ll be free of sin. There is only one way to rise from the dead and that is as the Son, the servant of God. “If the Father is glorified in the son He will in turn glorify him in Himself and He will do it soon.” Thoughts?
I agree Martha did know about the resurrection. but she didn't realize what Jesus could do concerning it. which was to raise the dead, and that's what he did with Lazarus. as you said , "some believe Jesus died so all are saved", Jesus said this ,(John 3:17 For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but rather so that through him, the world might be saved). NOTICE the word "MIGHT", Jesus knew that Many will NOT follow in his steps ,(Luke 9:23 And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me). MANY refuse to deny them themselves! yet he was sent by his Father for ALL, if they chose to accept the blessing. and as long as we're here in this system, we won't be free of sins. but we can just fight hard to follow what Jehovah God and others taught by means of Jehovah God's words. when God say we are free from sin. he's referring to those who's really trying to be obedient. it doesn't mean they are NOT sinners by birth. peace

Any tribulations that come will be entirely the result our our human flaws, failings, and perversity, NOT God. You can stop fretting over such things if you will surrender your heart to the Jesus Christ of the Cross, NOT the Bible.

You use to base your philosophy on the sermon on the mount. Now it’s this nonsense of the cross forgiveness. Many a person has forgiven others in this manner that you think Jesus was acting on but no, He wasn’t asking for His killers to be forgiven as you think.

“He who belongs to the world thinks like the world and speaks in a worldly way but the one who comes from heaven testifies to what he has seen and heard but no one believes him. If anyone does believe they render the truth of God for the one who is sent by God he speaks the words of God, his gift of the spirit is not measured.”

You misunderstand scripture and the power of God.

Follow the son and you will live.

Case of John 11 was a Temple sleep initiation. The same mentioned in John 1, "48Nathanael said to him, “How do you know me?” Jesus answered him, “Before Philip called you, when you were under the fig tree, I saw you.”
