You believe that nonsense because you want credit for what Jesus accomplished and to feel special and wise unlike the rest of the dullards who do not believe whatever you believe!!!! Wake up. You are NOT special. We ALL are!!! God is no respecter of persons individually.

We are whoever we BECOME as Spirits and THAT determines our fate, NOT whatever we believe that makes us feel good about ourselves. If we resonate with God's Holy Spirit of agape love, we will be accepted. If not, we will be corrected and refined until we are.

You are in denial of the teachings of holy scripture.

As such, you will be able to convince those who do not believe that the Bible is the word of God of your point of view (1 John 4:4-6); and you can have those people.

But for those who do know that the Bible is the word of God, I believe that it is expedient for me to quote the following.

Rom 5:1, Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:
Rom 5:2, By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

Eph 2:8, For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
Eph 2:9, Not of works, lest any man should boast.

Notice that it is of faith and not of works so that no one can boast. That means that we do not boast or think that we are someone special because of our faith.

It remains that we are saved through our faith and that without faith salvation is not possible.

You keep saying these platitudes without understanding them because you are NOT following Jesus Christ. You are following our ignorant ancestors' beliefs about their War God that Jesus came to correct by words and deeds!!! You completely ignore His most unambiguous deed on the Cross and misinterpret it according to our ancestors' barbaric beliefs about their wrathful god who needed to be appeased by blood sacrifices to forgive us for "whatever!"

Jesus demonstrated God's Holy Spirit of agape love and forgiveness without the slighted hint of wrath or vengeance in Him. You claim to follow the true Gospel that Jesus is God in the Flesh. Yet you insist God is wrathful and vengeful and needs to use our imperfect punitive form of justice to accomplish His Will which is utterly preposterous!

When you say that I am not following Jesus Christ, you have three fingers pointing back at you (Matthew 7:1-5, Luke 6:41-42).

I believe that the Bible is the word of God and that is never going to change.

It is the words of the Holy Bible that have "transformed me by the renewing of my mind" (Romans 12:1-2).

You would do well to let the words of the Holy Bible transform your thinking as well.

Trust in the LORD with all of your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight. (Proverbs 3:5-6)

Know that your understanding may not be the understanding that you are supposed to have.

"The weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for the pulling down of strongholds; casting down imaginations and every thought that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ." (2 Corinthians 10:4-5).

We are to take up "the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God." (Ephesians 6:17b)

As long as you ignorantly identify the words "written in ink" as the word of God instead of Jesus Christ, you will forever err. You are NOT following Jesus Christ, you are following the writings of men UNTESTED by the Holy Spirit of Jesus Christ. You pretend you are following the Holy Spirit but you ignore Him in favor of your book!

I suppose then, that you reject the concept that it is the words of holy scripture that testify to us what we need to know about Christ.

Any so-called holy scripture that you do NOT TEST to be sure it is consistent with and compatible with God's Holy Spirit of agape love and forgiveness as revealed by Jesus Christ on the Cross is NOT scripture and is certainly NOT holy!!!

The apostles who penned the holy scriptures were tested by the early church (Revelation 2:2) and found to be true.

If the tree is good, the fruit of the tree is also good (Matthew 7:15-20).

So you accept it all in your blind ignorance of the many things that could happen to it in the hands of mere humans for millennia. You see no obligation as a Christian to TEST the spirit of any of it against God's Holy Spirit of agape love and forgiveness as revealed by Jesus Christ on the Cross????

It was already tested.

Anything new is to be tested with the holy scriptures as the standard.
