This had been going on for 40+ years before Summorum Pontificum, and it will again if it becomes necessary.

However, I think this time the cat is out of the bag.

The church shutdowns did massive, irreparable damage to the Novus Ordo congregations and caused the Traditional communities to explode with growth. Not only numerically, but financially as well.

Thankfully, the bishops in my part of the country have shown no desire to suppress the Traditional Mass.
