Paul was God’s chosen Apostle to the Gentiles. His epistles are instructions to the church, confirmed by Peter. Liberals cherry pick a few passages of his that fits their narrative and trash the remainder as the “words of a man”.
The Protestants were the “liberals” too in their own generation - Luther and Calvin brought judgement to the system of that Day
Nothing new under the sun
The building up and the breaking down was to happen alongside each other

Under the New Covenant, salvation became a non-issue since Jesus achieved it for us. What we do or do not do to build on the foundation of agape love and reconciliation Jesus laid for us became the only issue. We build on that foundation by the agape love of God and each other every day and repenting when we fail.
He achieved the atonement but man must connect to that atonement and remain within that atonement to be saved. Too many Bible passages that refute your false doctrine that came from men, not Christ.
^ Paul came along and tried to put his teachings on par with Jesus. Nothing he added was even necessary. As long as it's in the Bible, many put his teachings as equal to those of Jesus without ever thinking carefully about what they are doing.

Wrong. It is men who decided they wanted credit for their salvation so they added the requirement that we believe whatever "precepts and doctrines of men" they say it is necessary to believe to accept our salvation (oh, and BTW join their church)! Nonsense! We can NOT decide what we truly believe, so it is an absurdity to pretend it is necessary. Jesus saved us and we have nothing to do with it except believe Him and act accordingly.
