The Rev. Megan Rohrer is the denomination's first openly transgender person in the role.

The Evangelical Lutheran Church in America installed its first openly transgender bishop in a service held in San Francisco's Grace Cathedral on Saturday. The Rev. Megan Rohrer will lead one of the church's 65 synods, overseeing nearly 200 congregations in Northern California and northern Nevada, the AP reports.

Might be both, or neither. You know how things are these days.

No no no. The acceptable verbiage is: "is it a menstruating person or not"?

No more "guys", "chicks", and CERTAINLY no more "women". Just menstruating persons.

^ Isn't "menstruating" a problem word? After all, it has "men" in it. Maybe unistruating, or just struating? Or maybe just "that", and not point or look. Try to use telepathy to get the point across. LOL

Sadly, I was told last week by a friend that when he moved to our town, he just decided to start attending the "Lutheran" church in town because he's Lutheran. The closest Missouri Synod Lutheran church is 15 miles away, or he could go to the bad ELCA church in town. He just can't understand there's a difference. It's all "Lutheran" to him.
