I have two grown children. I haven't agreed with all of the decisions they've made, and there have been times that they've hurt me by thoughtless comments. Still, I can't imagine anything either of them could do that would ever cause me to stop loving them. Somehow, I think that God's love must be even greater than mine.

But would you love anyone else's kids if they hated you, cursed you, and did harm to you and your family?

There aren't anyone else's children. We are all God's children despite the bigoted wishes of those who do not think so.

What verse says that?
Jesus actually said The Pharisees were children of the Devil in John 8.
We're told in Ephesians 2 that we are born children of wrath. We are born in sin, and we rebel against God. It's who we are by nature. So no, we are not born children of God. Nothing in the bible suggests that.
That's why we need to be born again, as John 1:12-13 says.

Our ancestors believed that anyone who ACTED like a child of the devil was a child of the devil and anyone who ACTED like a child of God was a child of God. That is true, but it is not how they were BORN.

Things like that do not just happen without a reason, they would probably not have a correct picture of who I was and who my family were
