There are a lot of things in Ecclesiastes and I wouldn’t just cut that one bit out and say it is the whole purpose
Ecc 12:12**And further, by these,
my son, be admonished: of
making many books there is no end; and much study is a weariness of the flesh.
Ecc 12:13**Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the
whole duty of man.
Ecc 12:14**For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.
Mat 10:16**Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.
Mat 10:17**
But beware of men: for they will deliver you up to the councils, and they will scourge you in their synagogues;
Mat 10:18**And ye shall be brought before governors and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them and the Gentiles.
1Co 7:20**Let every man abide in the same calling wherein he was called.
1Co 7:21**Art thou called being a servant? care not for it: but if thou mayest be made free, use it rather.
1Co 7:22**For he that is called in the Lord, being a servant, is the Lord's freeman: likewise also he that is called, being free, is Christ's servant.
1Co 7:23**Ye are bought with a price;
be not ye the servants of men.
1Co 7:24**Brethren, let every man, wherein he is called, therein abide with God.
