The misunderstanding and misinterpretation of the Bible stories stem from one central problem - the refusal to accept that it is a spiritual book that is to be interpreted spiritually, NOT carnally. It is NOT a science book. It is NOT a history book. It IS a spiritual book.
Unfortunately, our carnal ancestors were terrified of Spirits so they were unable to interpret it spiritually. They were hung up on fables and genealogies and old wives tales despite being told not to be and to interpret spiritually.

Apparently, even most people today are incapable of seeing the actual spiritual content or at least unwilling to make the effort. The most amazing thing about it all to me is that the Torah contains a truth that can be interpreted carnally by those who need it and simultaneously contains the actual spiritual content hidden deep within the text. If that doesn't evidence divine inspiration, nothing ever will.

If all knowledge originated with Jehovah, why then , for example, did Jehovah not convey how to cure polio or smallpox long ago , before men discovered how through experimentation only in the early modern era ? Why does Jehovah not now tell us how to cure other diseases, especially ones that affect and kill children , that we have not yet figured out?
