I remember Dr Stanley well, in fact attended his church for a while until I realized he preached a false gospel conditioning salvation on mans freewill. I hope the Lord changed his mind on that and he found mercy with God at last. Im not consigning him to hell, that I dont know.
I just found out he passed. He was a great teacher. I would listen to him weekly. He made you look at life lessons from a different point of view.
He is high up in heaven now. Rest in Peace.
This is a good tribute video with 3 life lessons with regards to Dr. Stanley's life.
1- Family dysfunction does not have to disable you.
2- Your personal failures don't have to disqualify you.
3- Time and space doesn't have to define you.
This is probably one of his best presentations on trusting God and not trying to figure things out on our own (my main issue). He gives real life scenarios where through His relationship with God and prayer, he navigated through certain events in his life and ministry.
This is a masterclass on how we should interact with God.
