Anyone interested in the many tricks used...C.S. Lewis' ''The Screwtape Letters"...wish it was not such an odd name!
It sure doesn't tell us of the incredible content of the book.

Yes! That book gave me a whole new perception on the tactics of the evil one.

The biggest trick of knowledge is too much concentration on the past, irrelevent facts or forecasting the future. The Christian should strive to be present in the moment, actively loving each other and eschewing judgement. Daily prayers will help keep you where you need to be.

Great book, as are all of Lewis'.

"Letters from a Skeptic" has brought many unbelievers around.

The Screwtape Letters! I read it many years ago, and it has remained one of my favorite books. To this day, whenever I'm aware of feeling virtuous, Wormwood from The Screwtape Letters comes to mind.

Lucifer's biggest trick on Christians one of which is: once saved always saved. Not true according to Jesus at Matthew 24:13; Mark 13:13; Luke 21:19

Before we can even begin to work on that particular doctrine, we need to define what salvation actually is. We can't even do that.

You don't understood those verses you quoted. They don't mean what you think they mean. And I can point out eternal security verses which I have done in the past. But I would just be wasting my time and don't particularly care to.
