all I know is I don't understand it all!
I believe we won't and will not know it all.
That is where the trust comes in. Wholly trusting the fulness of Christ in His provision.
I know one can come to the life where you no longer want or desire acceptance, approval, and etc. Because Christ stands crucified and resurrected in the heart. It is your life. You walk in faith and believe it and nothing can change it. Sin shall no longer have dominion over you. The things of the earth and flesh no longer beg and hunger to be recognized in the heart. It is complete and done in Christ. Heaven is your home.

As Christians, how do we view our relationship with God?

Under the old law, God's people lived under a "Master/servant" relationship. But God had a better plan...

How do we see our relationship today?

A father/son relationship is much different than a master/servant or employer/employee relationship.

Do we feel that we "need" to serve the Lord, trying to please Him.. and that we have no choice, as His servant?

Are we trying to please Him as an "employer", so He doesn't fire us (and maybe so we get a "raise"?! )

Or.. do we, as adoptive children of our Father, bask in His love.. and return the same to Him?

I see myself as a daughter of the Father being transformed into His image, who sometimes makes mistakes, sometimes fails, is learning to do better, seeking to please Him not because I have to but because of who He is and because of what He has done and is doing. He is doing all things for our best even when I may not understand what it happening. And He knows exactly how to do it. He does understand me inside out, even better than I understand myself and He has a goal in mind. I am trusting Him in all things with His help. God bless.
