Do you like New York City? Why or why not? I am just curious about what Christians think of New York City.
Being a Christian has absolutely nothing to do with whether or not I like New York City (and I do like it). Are you thinking that Christians judge the entire city as "sinful" or something and therefore refuse to like it? Not sure what it is exactly you are trying to accomplish with this poll, but you appear to be judging Christians?? To quote YOU from another thread, "It just seems very close-minded and ignorant."
I voted for the sake of voting and because hey I'm a New Yorker. I don't live there, haven't for the past 25 years, but that is irrelevant. While, no, I would not want to live there again due to the weather mainly, one thing is to visit, another thing to have to shovel out snow from your driveway just to get your kids to school, I still love New York.
I too, however, do not understand what being a Christian or not would have to do with whether someone likes New York or not. The point of the poll as it is being portrayed eludes me.
I moved from a country setting to NYC to be with my wife, who grew up here. Neither of us like it here so we are looking to move to NC one day. The only thing we like here is our family, our church, transporation and the food. Other than that, there is nothing here we like.
So it is possible for a diehard Christian to LOVE New York City?!
Love the people, not the works.
It is by far the most worldly city in the world. The towers sadly one day will all fall, and the world will cry out, Babylon the great has fallen.
You can read about it in Revelation.
godspeed,
freedom
