Good to see your faith is in the church that is continuosly struggling with pedophilia rather than the Bible. Ciao.
I apologize for the grapes that are sour

Ted - Do you really love the Church? That's hard to believe since every single post you create denigrates the Church. So what are your real motivations? Were you violated? Come clean.

It seems you are another who embraces and encourages pedophiles. Why do you not denounce the rapists and those in the Church leadership that protected them?

I don't support the guilty priests and bishops at all. I want them gone. My comment was made in because one post Ted says he loves the Church, but I have NEVER, EVER read a single good thing Ted said about the Church he supposedly loves.

Two phrases apply for Ted:
"A wolf in sheeps clothing".
"With friends like him, who needs enemies!"

Hold on, juj.

Watch this. It seems you are another who embraces and encourages pedophiles.

Means you and I are a tag team now. Omaha's pretty much bummed about some sour grapes.

I have asked the same too.

In his usual self, he dodges the response.

As a Catholic, I'm outraged and embarressed by these and other atrocities.
The religious who participate in ( or condone ) this type of betrayal to those entrusted to their care should be thrown out. I think most Catholics share this belief.

I must admit though, I'm conflicted if the Church should allow iteslf to go bankrupt over these cases. I still believe it does more good throughout the world with it's thousands of ministries, schools, hospitals etc..

What many don't seem to understand though, for us to leave the church over this, would be like all soilders leaving the armed forces because of the wack jobs that particiated in, or condoned May Ly in vietnam.

All humans, have the capacity for evil.

Thanks Oak. It's obvious you get it. When presented with someone from your faith, the first thing you do is to denounce their behavior then address the other issues.

It's ridiculous that the Church should be going bankrupt over issues such as these on the other hand the Church leadership really needs to take an active role in placing pedophile priests in the hands of the law. They can be forgiven by the Church later but their is still a social and legal responsibility that needs to be served and that doesn't happen when the Church protects the likes of these priests.

Yeah, too bad you don't have sour grapes over priests molesting children but you keep on letting the opportunity to condemn these child rapists pass on by.

No doubt, if I walked into my parish one shiny day with a gun, robbed the treasury and had my way with the secretary, they'd call 911 and have me thrown in the slammer.

I won't tolerate shadows, secrecy and deception.

I say let the light shine on everyone.
Evil loves darkness and shadows and will run from the light.
