Do we so easily forget who we are that our hearts do not break for the lost and their destiny? We are sinners saved by grace. There was nothing special in us when God in His mercy drew us to Himself. While we were yet sinners, He died for for us.
Realizing that I was no better than the lost around me gives me compassion for them. Being eternally separated from God is a horrible thing. I have had loved ones slip away into eternity without knowing Christ. They were part of that unrepentant crowd from whom some here long to be separated. They might find joy in that; I find great sorrow!
Do we not see the sin that still dwells in our own hearts? Do we not sorrow over the many times we fail and give in to those things that once enslaved us? Until we leave these earthen vessels and become fully sanctified, we will still struggle with the sinful desires of the old man--the one we once were.
I, too, hate sin and long to be finally separated from it. But the greatest sinner and the most offensive sinner of whom I long to be finally rid is--ME!
We can always count on you for an uplifting gospel word. It's beutiful.
Saying hello to JESUS and seeing Him in person is going to be awesome.
Seeing JESUS in the air also means saying godbye to the unbelievers, which will also be nice. It will be nice to live in eternal perfection without the unrepentant sinners around.
That's so nice. I love this. See folks like me would be considered a wonderful christian if I just believed a little more. I, and many others, live good clean ("sin" free") lives...yet we don't believe so we are scum. I guess it'll be nice to be wherever after death without all those hypocritical christians around.

In Christ, Preterist
Amen to that brother. What a blessed day it will be when I sin no more, nor shall anyone else. Sin will die from all of us.
