Don't confine biblical prophecy to the timeline of an ancient Mayan cult.

Hey Thrillobyte, That quote was a joke, right?
Well, jeapostle, in this thread I'm just a reporter. I'm not taking any sides on the issue--just staying neutral like a journalist should.

July 11... that's less than 3 weeks from now... and they're expecting the rapture to happen! All I can say is good luck with that.

The reactions here are vastly different from other Christian BBS's. Here are some:

Quote:
Ron brings up many good points for considering that by July 11th we will be out of here;that our RAPTURE FLIGHT will be DEPARTING before July 11, 2009, that means we got just under 3 weeks to go, at the latest !
Quote:
July 4th would be a good candidate for the Rapture especially with the Korean situation.
Missiles incoming ---We go HOME!
Let's see 7 days before July 11th is July 4th!!
Is this a coincidence or premonition?
Quote:
The fact that Dec 21, 2012 is a Pagan date and or a Satanic influenced date makes me believe more that it can be the mid-point of the Tribulation because if Satan takes over the world at that time, what better time for the world to fall into the AC's complete power than a Pagan/Satanic date!
Interesting dichotomy of sentiments.

So what are you guys gonna do when "satan" doesn't take over the world and there is no rapture, ever? nor anti-christ? What are you gonna do if the world evolves into Heaven on Earth and those so called prophecies never come true?

That post is a troll post.

1-Basic Christianity Sub-Forum Guidelines:
This sub-forum should simply contain topics that would be less interesting to people of other faiths who are not solely interested in the Christian perspective of a particular topic. Everybody is welcome to post in it, however debating the merits of Christianity should primarily be reserved for the main forum.
