Resurrection is raising to life after death - if the lake of fire is the second death - being raised to life must be after that death

First resurrection is those that have died in Christ during their lifetime (not the physical death but the death of our carnal nature)

Death of carnal nature - separation of soul and Spirit

Heb 4:12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

Mat 10:28 And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able todestroy both soul and body in hell.

Lake of fire is for the destruction of the body and soul - The word of God is for the dividing of the soul and Spirit

First resurrection - body and soul is divided from the Spirit before physical death - raised by the Spirit

Second resurrection body and soul is divided by the lake of fire (second death) after physical death - raised by the Spirit
Your position makes no sense. Revelation says that "anyone not found written in the lamb's book of life was cast into the lake of fire. (rev20:15) the first death is your when you die in this world. this is separation of the soul and body. then , if you are among those raised at the rapture you need not fear the second death. if you are raised at the great white throne judgement and your name isnt found in the lamb's book of life then you will be thrown in the lake of fire which is the SECOND DEATH . this is eternal separation from God. when God raises the dead he raises them PHYSICALLY. and when people are cast into hell they are cast PHYSICALLY into hell. The second body is not like the first. it does not die.

The lake of fire is symbolic. What makes no sense is a loving God burning people for eternity with no hope of escape. If you study the scriptures giving God's true divine character the benefit of the doubt, your eyes and heart will start to open to this truth.

In 1 Cor 15 We are told that the resurrection of the dead is a spiritual body
1Co 15:42 So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption:
1Co 15:43 It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power:
1Co 15:44 It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.
1Co 15:45 And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.

I believe that the first death is not just about the death of the actual body but has more to do with the carnal nature.
