Another attack on the Bible is scheduled to be aired on PBS on November 18th. It's a documentary titled 'The Bible's Buried Secrets' and is designed to undermine the Bible. Apparently it will seek to present Abraham and also the Exodus as a myth.
Here's a link to a website which mentions the documentary and which also shows some Archeological evidence which confirms the Bible. It's interesting.

You actually think that the purpose of this Nova series is to discredit the bible? Perhaps it does that, but the people in the film are simlpy seeking the truth. You may not like that truth, but That doesn't change anything.

Well, let's see. I posted it, I wrote what I wrote, and sooo.... Gosh!!! I guess I must actually believe it.
Satan uses every means at his disposal to attack the credibility of the Bible. And using the media to do so is one of his methods.
Did you watch the Nova series? I did, and I don't see an attack on the bible....In fact a lot of the discoveries mentioned support some of the historical facts in the bible. I would think that this film would be of great interest to Christians and Jews alike....Unless of course you actually believe that the bible was written by God himself....I assure you it wasn't.

The Holy Spirit is the divine author of the Bible. ''God the Holy Spirit so directed the writers of Scripture that without changing their personality, vocabulary, frame of reference, or emotional pattern ,God's complete and connected thought toward man was recorded in their own language and vernacular. As a result, we actually have in Scripture the mind of Christ--the Word of God--the divine viewpoint as it is expressed in human terms under the principle of inspiration. The doctrine of inspiration applies only to the original languages of Scripture and quarantees their accuracy.''
('Canonicity,' R. B. THIEME, JR. pages 3,4 )
Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Spirit. (2 Peter. 1:20-21)
All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in rightousness. (2 Tim. 3:16)

Isn't the above nothing more than circular argument? Isn't the book patting its own self on the back? How can THAT be objective?

You didn't answer my question...Did you watch the videos?...If not why not?

I have a dial up connection and an old operating system. Even a seven minute Youtube video takes a long time to download. I'll look at it when I get a chance,if I don't forget.

Look to the prophecies that have thus far been fulfilled for your answer. They are sufficient in and of themselves to act as proof that the Scriptures are indeed the very Word of God.
