The comment isn't about the person in question. Rather, it's about the religion they claim to be a part of. The simple truth is that Roman Catholicism is not Christianity, and one can see that when one looks at it. First and foremost, Catholics, whether they admit it or not, worship Mary as a co-deity (some even go so far as to call her a co-redemptrix), when she was just a lowly human. God is the only one to be worshiped!
I know many Catholics who don't believe in all of those things and for someone to judge another based on their religion is WRONG....you do not know anyone's heart and should not be making judgmental statements like that to an individual regardless of what religion they claim. It was wrong of you to debase her that way and you should apologize to her.
It is better to please God, then to 'have fun' by indulging in the things of the world.
See, the thing you do not understand is that your original premise is wrong.
I know lots of good christians that enjoy Halloween. They are not in any way indulging in the occult, they are dressing up, socializing and eating candy.
Simple as that.
You can take all your Christian Judgement and go read your bible... it is not up to you to judge... right?

It doesn't matter whether they believe in it or not. If you are a "confirmed" Catholic you are a member of an organization that goes against God. Whether you believe in everything the Church espouses is irrelevant. The fact is that Catholics are part and parcel of an organization that God despises, and that the Bible calls a "great *****".

I personally think Catholicism is a cult, but they believe in Christ right?
Doesn't that make them christians?
How are you soooo certain that ONLY your brand of christianity is the right one?
This is why I simply cannot abide 'christians' like you!
It seems as though there are some fake Christians here; they are the only ones who are insecure about anything. I can, and do, have fun all the time. I just don't have it on a Satanic holiday.

People who practice Santeria also believe some things about Jesus, does that make them Christian as well? (I guess, if you forget about the fact that they sacrifice chickens and God-only-knows what else...)

God is not the one who hates....IT IS YOU WHO HATES...and it shows in every one of your posts. May God humble you one day and open your eyes to the hatred in your heart.
