This one wasn't mine, I heard it and was blown away:
If Christianity was a crime, would there be enough evidence to convict you?
That would depend on whose version of Christianity it is based on:
1. There is Christianity based upon the words of Jesus and the 12 Apostles, i.e, words of repentance, turning from all sin and living a life of faithfulness and obedience to God, thereby producing fruit unto good works....etc.
or
2. There is Christianity based on Pauls words only of you don't have to do anything but believe in Jesus....have "faith only".
Since I follow the Christianity of #1....there would be oodles of evidence to prove that Jesus truly is my Lord and Savior because my life would reflect that by the way I live in faithful obedience to him, for him, and by serving him...they would lock me up.
Since most follow the Christianity of #2 and never change their lives to reflect that they have a Lord over them....one that they actually follow in the footsteps of (they live like everyone else in the world/are not distinguishable from the rest of the world)....they would more than likely get away with it and be free as a bird.

Well, my op states "you", not others. Remember the parable about the man and the tax collector? The man prayed, "God, thank you that I am righteous and not like that wretched sinner"and the tax collector fell on his face and cried out to God, "Father forgive me of my wickedness." We are called to be humble in Spirit and truth. Just some food for thought.

Hmmm....are you feeling convicted about something I've posted by your less than humble response?

No, my point was that it was a personal question, and you answered it as such, "Well, I'm good because I do such and such, but those people over there...." and I was merely pointing out how that paralleled the scripture that I referenced. I didn't mean to offend and apologize if I did.
