It is a prayer, from Paul. Nothing philosophical, nothing prophetic. It isn't a theological premise of the Divine Will of God. It isn't a debate for Christians to engage in over our Maker carrying out His plan. It has nothing to do with any of this. It has nothing to do with whether one believes God can get whatever He wills or wants.
It is just a prayer, from Paul.
This is good, and pleases God our Savior, who wants all men to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth. - Just a prayer.

When we pray the believer is praying the will of God.

Yep, I do, but unfortunately people are blinded and do not want the truth. God doesn't force anything on us. He doesn't want us to sin, yet lets us. He doesn't want us to go to hell, yet lets us. It just a prayer.

Would you let your own children go to eternal torment on making the wrong choice ?
I don't question why God does things. I read the Bible and it's CRYSTAL clear that UR is dead wrong.
Whether UR is right or wrong is not what i am asking , because the truth of the matter is you know you wouldn't allow that of your own children , so if we being evil know how to not allow such a thing to happen how much more our heavenly Father.
Cantwait2leave i want to say to you that God will not strike you down for questioning anything , He knows the thoughts and intents of our hearts and is more than happy to reason together with us.
Could you at least find it within yourself at least to say with an open heart before the Lord ,"Lord if UR is true please show me" ?.

Of course I ask God to show me His truth. Reading Matthew 25 and Hebrew 10 last night shows me that universal salvation isn't Biblically based. Trust me, I truly, truly wish it was true.
It's just a prayer, and it is not the WILL of God.
So then I guess it must be the will of God that some not be saved, and instead be tormented forever.
