I have a 2000 Jeep Wrangler Saraha 4.0. Just over 200,000 miles on it. About a year ago I began to notice that it would sputter a little when driving if I was driving for a while. Now I cant go 20 miles without my Jeep totally stalling out and wont start again until i open the hood and vent some heat. I have replaced the heat shield under the fuel rail, new injectors, new IAC, new TPS. I even wrapped the fuel rail in the included heat shield from the kit. Any thing else I need to do to fix this very annoying problem. Should I replace the fuel rail? What about the coil pac? Any help of course would be greatly appreciated.
Checked your fuel pressure? If your 2000 is like my '99, the fuel filter is in the tank, non-servicable, and is likely to cause a fuel pump failure around your mileage.
