I'm not referring to Model T paint, but to Grand Cherokee interiors.
The Jeep web site says beige cloth is an interior choice for GCs,
but when I look at dealers' inventories online (in Eugene/Corvallis/Salem, Oregon),
I find nothing but black interiors.
Has anyone seen a late-model GC with (cloth) upholstery that isn't black?
But those are leather, not cloth? I'm wondering if the beige-cloth choice only exists on the Jeep web site,
and they're not actually building any GCs with it.
I've seen too many of them, to be honest. I hate vehicles with black/grey/silver/white exteriors. I told the salesman that I wanted a GC in a real color, like red or blue or green, but that it had to have a black interior. He said they could usually only get "colored" cars with beige interiors, and that proved to be what they had on their lot, both cloth and leather.
I think vehicle configurations are very region specific. I'm cross-shopping 4Runners, and I can't find any with an option I want anywhere within hundreds of miles from me, but there are dozens (at least) on lots down south. If you're sure you want a GC, look further afield. But do it soon because it's nearly the end of the model year.
