... Brother, just going by the numbers, no "from what I remember ... I think so ... It feels like ... etc." Facts, actual data - that's how I roll.

Lol well I watch the weather channel everyday. Would that be considered fact?

But seriously, heres the weather for the entire month of July for my current city and Cincy. So, yea the same weather +/- a few degrees. Thats fact. Not "from what I remember ... I think so ... It feels like ... etc."

Wilson, you have it all. Great house, awesome landscaping job, and in a great city neighborhood. You know how many people would kill to have what you have. I have a condo that was built in 2007 out in the suburbs. I am looking though to buy somewhere in Dayton, and I have my eyes on the Oregon District. The thing that I like best about your backyard is that it looks like it is set in some small town with all the greenery. You wouldn't think you were in a big city.

Wow! Props to you, I wouldn't be able to do that. Dayton is adding bike trails downtown, and with Riverscape finishing up, it adds even more. I bring my bike downtown when I am on lunch and go for a ride. It is awesome seeing the kayakers and other bikers, as well as the joggers and such. A very urban feel. They continue to expand the bike lanes too. I believe there is a new bike station in Yellow Springs.

Thank you so much. I am a person who has a whole lot of gratitude. Here's more of the back yard that goes down into a meadow (shot from the pool deck):

And, here's an interior shot looking toward the pool.

I know. All that, without living in the suburbs. It's like he gets to have his cake and eat it too. I'm definitely 'diggin' the landscaping.

Okay, so without being trollish...no arguments, just idle curiosity...what's the difference between having what Wilson has in Hyde Park, and having the exact same thing in the suburbs?

Still trying, after years now, to figure out why everyone hates the suburbs so much.

Many things. The day you find neighborhoods like you do in Cincinnati is the suburbs will be crazy. Wilson's house is much better built, nicer, older, historic then homes you find in the suburbs. You are close to everything the city has to offer, and you do not see miles and miles of the same cookie cutter suburban style housing developments. Trust me, I live in Beavercreek, and I see it everyday. This area has grown by leaps and bounds within the last 3 years of me moving to Ohio, and it has been all the same housing developments. And don't even get me started on The Greene.

Looks good in the summer and the winter. Hope you are getting use out of the pool. These next few days are gonna be hot!
