Does Anyone know about the following oil companies in Cincinnati (Columbus: purchaser, bankruptcy)

I am curious if anyone knows about the following oil companies in Cincinnati / Columbus...
Loveland Oil Company
Pipeline Oil Company
Mid Ohio Oil Company
and Mid Ohio Petro.
Any information about the following company and/or the owner(s) of the company would be great for me. I am trying to learn about it.

How about Stillpass Oil?

I do not know anything about Stillpass Oil, but would not mind learning about it. What do you know about Stillpass oil? Does it contain the same owners as loveland and pipeline oil? Do you know anything about the company?

It was around a long time. There were numerous service stations and a very substantial refueling operation. The Stillpass family had a car dealership and lost interest in the oil company. It was sold to a large service station operator in the early 80's. I'll try to remember his name. The offices of the purchaser were located behind Cincinnati Gardens.

In August 2004, the state filed an action against Mid Ohio Petroleum Company, alleging violations of Ohio's air pollution laws. The state sought injunctive relief and civil penalties. In April 2005, the state amended its complaint, naming Loveland Oil Company and appellee as additional defendants. In June 2005, appellee filed a "Notice and Suggestion of Stay," notifying the court that he had recently filed for bankruptcy, and moving the court for a stay of the proceedings. Before the state filed a response, the court dismissed the state's action. The [**2] court ruled as follows: "Because federal bankruptcy proceedings will indefinitely stay further proceedings in this case, this case is hereby dismissed, other than on the merits, and without prejudice."

If Loveland Oil was in bankruptcy you can find everything about it.

I assume this is the Stillpass family of Stillpass Honda? -- I had no idea that they were in the oil business, was it started by the old man that was involved in the car business too... Or was it more like a merger of the family, could they have merge with a company named Billlups or a family that was run owned by two sisters --- but their husbands ran the company?
