This isn't a question, just a commentary, and a pleasant one at that.
I live in a large apartment building in Sayler Park, and there are a lot of "kids" here. By "kids" I mean between 2 and 20 years of age, and remarkably, they all get along very well and the older ones are always helpful to the little ones, and everyone is also very friendly to me.
I came home one warm evening after dark one night about six weeks ago and they were all in the courtyard, and they were all screaming (fun screams, not scared screams). I asked them if they were playing "Ghosts in the Graveyard," and they all looked at me like I had two heads. They had NO idea what I was talking about. One of the kid's mothers had heard of the game, and she too was surprised that they didn't know about it. So I looked up the game on the Internet and printed out the rules and gave the instructions to one of the teenage girls.
Last week she told me that they had all been playing Ghosts since then, and thanked me for telling them about it. I felt very flattered that they took me seriously, and was also glad that they have been playing together outside!

I used to play that game "too many" years ago as a kid too. Here are some others that probably haven't crossed between the generations:

Mother May I
Simon Says
Red Rover
