Hey all,

I recently took a job in Dillsboro, Indiana and am considering staying on the west side of Cincinnati. Preferably somewhere near US50 or 275 so I can get to Dillsboro in a reasonable amount of time. I'm looking in Cincinnati so that I'm closer to friends and family, and near the city for entertainment and such. I haven't ruled out Dillsboro yet but it is rural, I grew up in a very rural area and I have no hate of rural areas but apartments are few and far between in rural settings and those that are out there aren't the most desirable sometimes.

Anyway, I'm trying to keep rent somewhere under 600 or 650 tops and above all it has to be a safe neighborhood. Then have easy access to US50 or 275 to keep my commute shorter. I'm not familiar with the neighborhoods in Cincinnati at all. I do have one friend from Cincy and after hearing some of his stories it seems like I need to be really careful on where I hang my hat, is that true?

I was looking at Harrison and Grandview but there doesn't seem to be a lot of apartments there, at least that I can see online. So if you have any advice I'd love to hear it.

Thanks!

Default sayler park

I live in Sayler Park on Gracely Drive which is right off of US 50/River Road. The apartment building (actually there are two of them with a courtyard in the middle) is being renovated and the rent is what you are asking. There are one and two-bedroom apartments available. PM me and I can give you the manager's phone number.
