I looked on imdb to see what show you were talking about but I could just find references to wrestling and to a Dick Clark show. Was this a show based in Cincinnati? What time period did it run and how long was it on?

Was that the weekday late-evening movie show, maybe early-mid 1970's? They showed former hit movies, such as "All the King's Men", from maybe 11:30 to 1:00. The show I remember did feature a ten-second loop of a rippling Ohio river against the backdrop of a late-night Cincinnati skyline, either before or after each commercial break. This was accompanied by a wispy orchestral piece. Are we talking about the same show?

I've wondered what that tune was, as well, and have only heard it twice since then in all these many years. The first time was in a chance encounter with an easy-listening station. The other, more interestingly, was while walking through the lobby of the building where Muzak was headquartered. If you ever learn the name of the tune, please share it with us.
