We who live here do not need words/phrases to describe Ohio. WHY? Because we know we live in one of the most desirable places in the US. So we do not need phrases to convince the rest of the country. In fact, if others just ignore us, we will be free to live here and enjoy our surroundings.

Anyone who moves here from another state are welcome to feel good about their past. But I believe my point was Ohioans do not need to defend their state period. It is a great place to live, and while we may internally disagree about Cincinnati, Columbus, Cleveland, Dayton, Toledo, etc. they are all still above many other places in the country.

Those who complain they cannot get a good job in Ohio is probably due to the fact they have no skills. If you have reasonable skills you can be gainfully employed in Ohio and raise a good family.

Question for the person who saw fit to advise me that Ohio has dairy farmers:

What slogan do you carry on your car license plates?
