Union Terminal is pretty heavily patrolled, if for no other reason than that there's all kinds of valuable property in the building itself to say nothing of the Museum Center. I've never had any qualms about being there late, even when parked fairly far away. The decrepit remnants of the old West End, on that side of the expressway, were torn down a long time ago in favor of storage facilities and such. (RIP Crosley Field.) It's a totally different story on the opposite side of 75 - as I like to sometimes say, "I wouldn't be caught dead there, then again I might" on foot at any time. If you're going to travel by train or meet someone, there's no need to hesitate. Last I heard, the only Amtrak service for Cincinnati passes through at some ungodly hour like 3:40 AM. Even the bad guys are asleep by then.

I would sit there with a $100 bill taped to my forehead and not be the least bit concerned
