An absolutely great post. I loved it.

Years ago I would frequently go from my employer's location in Norwood out to GE Evandale to perform some work in their computer department. This was back before the Lockland Split. I-75 was just a divided highway through Lockland, kind if like driving through a narrow canyon. One afternoon I am going south back towards Norwood, and I glance down at a car on my right and see the left front wheel come off. That's right, the entire wheel just came off and is rolling down the highway. You look like it kind of mesmerized. I suddenly thought Holy Sh*t this is not good. Needless to say when you lose a left front wheel the car tends to become a little unstable. My only reaction was to tromp on my accelerator. The car which had lost the wheel then climbed up onto the tire, compressed it, and shot it like a rife across into the opposing north bound lanes. The next few seconds were unbelievable as that wheel richocheted back and forth across the highway after performing some serious damage to the sides of cars on each side of the road. It is the kind of event you to not forget, especially when you come out without a scratch.
